today is HIS day...

I've written lots about him before, 

about all the ways he loves me, serves me, loves my children well, 

leads me, and guides us all towards the Lord.

I could say it again day after day...

but today I just want to say,

Parker,

I am so thankful for you.

You are an amazing man.

You are an incredible Daddy and Husband.

I look up to you and to how you obey the Lord.

I feel privileged to watch you becoming all that He has made you.

You love people so well.

Your counsel to others is valued and trusted, and I admire that.

I love watching you love on our girls.

You will always lead us wherever the Lord leads you,

and I will always follow.

I trust you completely.

I am honored God picked me to do life with you.

10 months

I cannot believe I met this sweet girl 10 months ago today.

amazing.

She has brought me love beyond understanding,

She makes me giggle and squeal with excitement of just knowing her.

I am overwhelmed with the joy of being her mama.

I love you sweet B.

a princess, a pumpkin, and a Pumpkin Pie Cake recipe!

I love celebrating holidays esp now that I have little ones!!

and now....
get ready.
I promise you will thank me.

I give you....

you need:

1 can pumpkin puree

1 12 oz can evaporated milk

3 eggs

1 cup sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

4 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1 package yellow cake mix

3/4 cup butter, melted

1 cup chopped walnuts

preheat to 350 degrees.

grease a 9x13 dish.

in a large bowl, mix pumpkin, evap milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.

Mix well.

pout the batter into the pan.
sprinkle the bag of cake mix onto the batter.
(I kindof stirred it in a little bit.)



drizzle your melted butter over the mix.

Sprinkle walnuts on top and bake for about 45-55 minutes.

Put vanilla ice cream on top, and ENJOY!!!!
