ready, set, go!

here we are, our little family blog! We are excited to share life with those of you who want to keep up! I have contemplated starting this since we had Abigail but just have not made the time or effort. But Im ready and excited to have you be a part of our lives in this way! If you can only stop by every now and then to catch up, or if you want to be a "follower" of our blog, we would love you to check in whenever you want to!

I have not really decided exactly what all will be shared on this blog, I think Im just going to just go with the flow and see what happens! I look forward to this being a therapeutic outlet for our family, and also as just a way to keep the "masses" posted on our happenings! I also look forward to sharing as the Lord leads about things He is showing us. I mainly look forward to this being a way to live life together in a sense, as we are asked to do. As I read blogs of friends and family, I am realizing what a great way this is to encourage each other in the "race set before us".

"Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" Hebrews 12:1-2
